Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and activist for animal rights. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). She was raised by an artist family in New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of art. The first job she had was a photo assistant. She then moved on to modelling and acting. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising actress. MacGraw was a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was selected for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared as the top female performer in box office history. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were engraved in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
