Zoe-perry
Perry was born on July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first TV roles were two appearances in the role of Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) on her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne, the character portrayed by her mom. Because of their fear of stress, the parents didn't want to see performing before she turned 18. Perry states that she did not want to be an actor in high school, but she decided to begin performing as a form of social interaction at Northwestern University when she switched to it from Boston University. After graduating Perry relocated to New York to search for television work landing small roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent however, her homesickness led her back to California which is where she discovered theater work. Perry starred with her mother in The Other Place at Broadway at the end of 2013. Perry was in the show with their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 in The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry starred in the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on ABC's drama The Family. Her father played her character in her role on the ABC Drama Scandal. She also played in the role of a older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was which is a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character, she was offered the role through an audition.
