Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an American author of cookery books and Emmy Award-winning host of the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002, has 27 seasons till 2020. Ina started her career with nuclear energy policy and budgets of the White House. After initially finding the job interesting and stimulating however, she began to get bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then purchased. After more than 18 years of making her store a huge success, she sold it and began writing her first book. There were many more cookbooks and magazine columnists that came later. The Food Network TV show also was launched which was an enormous success. Her range of items spans from kitchen equipment to ingredients as well as storage containers. Ina has never attended any cooking academy and has never worked in restaurants. She's completely self-taught. She's known for her easygoing way of cooking and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
