Hayley Orrantia is an American actor, singer and songwriter. The most famous of her role includes Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' a comedy TV show. The main focus of her is a performer. Music, according to her, is the first thing she enjoys. Her first time playing it when she was nine years old. When she was 12, music became significant enough that she was able to pursue a career in music. As a teenager, she started writing her own music. Her first cover album didn't come out until 14 years after. From that point on, there's been no looking back. Orrantia was raised in the USA but has Hispanic roots. She has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when she was a kid and her whole life was in the United States. To keep her heritage alive she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs using the language. One of her efforts was the creation of a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut Season of The X Factor. Orrantia was awarded four "yeses" from the judges at the Seattle live audition stage following getting selected based on her YouTube video submission. Although she originally auditioned on her own at "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female singers, were put into an ensemble for the remainder in the selection process. They were eliminated in the fifth week of the live performance.
